That made my day, coming home to see the tupperware that held the most delicious cookies was halfway open, opening it, and finding just one cookie left. Realizing we had just enough milk left for this one cookie was the icing on top (or should I say "the caramel in the middle?"). YUM!

ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, these cookies are probably the best cookies I've ever eaten! My friend and I made them together one day because we were bored, and we came to the conclusion that even without the scrumptious caramel-filled middle, they would still be great! The cookie itself is so tasty!

So glad you enjoyed them, they are super delicious! And I agree--the cookie is good enough on its own without the caramel. It's pretty much a crackle cookie dough so if you make them without the filling, you can just roll the cookie dough balls in powdered sugar before baking to get crackle cookies :)
